Every team we'd worked on treated hiring as the most important thing it did and ran it on the worst tools it owned. Spreadsheets, scheduling threads, and a shared sense that the decision came down to vibes.
We started VirtualHire because that gap felt absurd. The highest-leverage decisions deserved better than a patchwork of tabs.
The bet
If we could make the structured, fair way also the easy way — fewer clicks than the spreadsheet, not more — teams would adopt it without being told to. That's still the whole product thesis.
Make the right thing the easy thing, and people will do the right thing.
